You can search for journals in our journal registry or on You can also search for individual articles in Google Scholar or in journal collections. If you find articles that are not accessible you can order them through interlibrary loans.

You can search for e-journals that are available to you in the directory of e-journals Find journal. The directory includes journals that are available nationwide, through the University network, and through open access.

Interlibrary Loan

If you find material that is not directly available you can make a request for interlibrary loan on You can find further instructions on how to order via interlibrary loan in our guide.

You can search for articles and journals on You can refine your results in various ways, for example by filtering your search by creator, journal title or date.

Google Scholar

You can search for articles in GoogleScholar. Articles available nationwide are marked Landsaðgangur. Articles available through the University network or open access are marked in various ways.
