Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service whereby a user from one library can borrow books or receive photocopies from another library

Doctoral students at the University of Iceland sometimes get expences for interlibrary loans paid by their department. The department office has to send confirmation accordingly to


Lost items

If a patron looses an interlibrary loan book he has to pay for the book in full. Minimum fee is 8000 kr.



Employees of the University of Iceland

Expenses because of research and teaching at the University of Iceland is paid for by the appropriate department or institution, invocies are sent twice a year.
